About your tutor Josephine Cobb: I am a local Hassocks based artist I create art inspired by nature. Working with materials like paper, wool and other nature-gathered treasures, I craft pieces that bring a sense of calm, connection and creativity. My work offers a place to pause, to feel rooted and to celebrate the wellbeing that comes from making and being close to nature. Visit Josephine’s Instagram page here
Time to take a quiet few hours for yourself, a chance to get creative, unwind and lose yourself in the mindful art of paper flower making. All materials are provided and no previous experience is needed. You’ll leave with a gorgeous poppy to keep or gift.
During the session, you’ll:
Cut, shape and sculpt crepe paper petals
Put your piece together step by step
Add finishing touches to make a lovely, realistic flower
Plenty of time to ask questions and enjoy the process at your own pace
Tea, coffee and biscuits are happily provided!
Practical Information
The workshop involves some detailed, sometimes fiddly work (so glasses if you need them!).
