  • Abigail Lock

    I am a Club Leader and the Founder of Love Art Studios and what makes our clubs and classes so popular, is our fantastic team, a brilliant collection of highly skilled, art loving creatives who have joined forces. We love what we do and sharing this with others gives us a real buzz! I have recently studied Dementia and the arts, adult counselling level 2, PDA and Autism. I believe in providing a safe and therapeutic space for people to connect and build confidence.

  • Emma McGettrick

    Emma provides vital admin support for our team, bringing efficiency, organisation and attention to detail. She has made a big difference to our systems and operations. Emma is also a talented photographer, specialising in family and small business photography, bringing the same creativity and precision to her art as she does to her work with us.

    Ginny Baxter

    Ginny is an experienced textile designer and expert draftswoman with deep love for sharing her creativity. As one of our Club Leaders, she brings warmth, humour and exceptional skill to every session. Ginny is experienced with adults and older people too, where her gentle guidance and eye for detail help build confidence and joy in creative expression. Whether you are exploring drawing techniques or experimenting with mixed media, Ginny’s sessions are a welcoming space to learn, connect and be inspired.

  • Saffron Wooten

    Club Leader Saffron is a joyful team member and connects with our young artists with ease. Saffron is passionate about inspiring the next generation with engaging sessions and has a background working with children. Saffron graduated from Brighton Uni with a Fashion Communications and Business degree. Saffron has experience with web design, branding, hand-drawn signage across various mediums and graphic design.

  • Chris Judge

    Art Club Leader/Assistant Chris has been to all of our sessions and proved he is a multi-talented artist able to turn his hand to many different projects, with a particular flare for 3D work. Chris has over 20 years experience working in the knitwear industry, producing designs for well-known national and international clients such as Donna Karan, Fendi and Missoni.  In addition he designs and makes his own personal collection of knitted accessories under the name ‘Chris Judge Design’.

  • Neena Findlay

    Club Leader Neena is a calm influence on our sessions with a methodical mind which is regularly applied to crafting and building projects. Neena is an experienced TA that often headed up art sessions in a local primary school. Neena is passionate about the benefits of art and creative freedom.

  • Beth Chaplin

    Club Assistant Beth is calm and friendly and loves a creative project! Beth has her own jewellery making business Rose Honey, committed to making quality, meaningful and responsible jewellery in small editions. Beth is passionate about reusing, repurposing and recycling, we love that at Love Art Studios too! Beth hosts jewellery making classes locally, check out her website below for more info.

  • Fiona Stokes-Payne (Fi)

    Fi is predominantly co-leading at our home ed/out of school sessions on a Monday in Hassocks, as well as being one of our SEND 1:1 Tutors, sharing her wealth of artistic expertise with our attendees. Fi is sensitive to others emotional needs and takes time to listen and work with our young creatives. Fi graduated as a textile designer from Winchester and spent many years freelancing as a designer. Fi is also a trend forecaster, parent and school worker in a local infants school.

  • Kate Rochester

    Kate is a contemporary artist who works across our after-school sessions, holiday clubs and 1:1 support. Based in Newhaven, Kate has a brilliant eye for colour and a real talent for drawing and printing. Her expressive, energetic approach helps young people feel confident, creative and excited to experiment. Kate’s sessions are welcoming, hands-on and full of colour, encouraging everyone to explore their own ideas and enjoy the process of making.

  • Juliette Rajak

    Juliette oversees several of our care home sessions. She is a bubbly, compassionate arts facilitator with extensive experience in dementia-friendly practice. With a background in illustration and art direction, Juliette brings creativity, calm and gentle encouragement to every session. She has specialist dementia training, an art therapy foundation and many years’ experience leading inclusive art workshops in care homes, community settings and schools. Her approachable style helps participants feel supported, confident and engaged.

  • Simon Hill

    Simon is an animator who works at our Coombe Road after-school club and assists across our holiday clubs. Level-headed and encouraging, Simon combines strong drawing skills with a creative, playful approach, helping young people build confidence and explore their own ideas. Alongside his work in animation and illustration, Simon is also a talented musician and guitar teacher, recently signing with a new band, adding yet another layer of creativity to his sessions.

  • Melanie Hickmore

    Mel runs our breakfast club at Ditchling, bringing fun, creativity and a jolly energy to every session. Based in Brighton, Melanie is a talented artist with a love of capturing the uniqueness and spirit of people in her work. Her friendly, encouraging approach helps children feel confident and inspired as they explore art, experiment with different materials, and enjoy the creative process.

  • Del Thorpe

    Del is an illustrator and creative mentor based in Brighton whose playful, expressive drawing style has delighted book and magazine audiences for years. With a background in illustration and storytelling through art, Del brings his curiosity and imagination into 1:1 mentoring for young people with SEND. He creates a relaxed, supportive space where artistic skills grow alongside confidence and self-expression, helping each learner discover what makes their creativity unique.

  • Josephine Cobb

    Josephine Cobb is a paper flower artist who specialises in creating elegant crepe paper blooms inspired by the natural world. With a qualification in horticulture, Josephine brings a lovely blend of creativity and botanical knowledge to her workshops. Her sessions are calm, friendly and designed for adults who want to switch off, learn something new and enjoy making something truly beautiful. Each workshop is guided step by step, with plenty of time to ask questions, and you’ll leave with a finished paper flower to treasure or gift.

  • Michele Bell

    Michele works for us ad-hoc at after school & holiday clubs. Michele, has a gentle and nurturing approach, and loves getting stuck into an art project! Michele has over 20yrs as a graphic designer and has worked on some really great briefs, including branding, social graphics, packaging, illustration and websites.

  • Georgina Moir (George)

    Adult Art Tutor and Art Club Assistant George is a passionate and talented watercolour artist based in Lindfield. George brings a fun, spontaneous approach to everything she does and is a joy to have on our team. George graduated in Graphic Design and Illustration from John Moores University in Liverpool, before starting her career as a Graphic Designer in children’s book publishing, more recently as a freelancer designing and illustrating books, prints and cards, but has also developed a love for painting!

  • Ned Blackbird

    Art Club Assistant Ned is fun and down to earth. Ned connects well with the young artists that come to our sessions and supports them through their projects. Ned is taking a year out before deciding his next steps and works in Lawrence's (art shop) in Hove - we love it in there!!
