Decorate & Embellish Your Own Tote Bag - Thurs 28th May - Ditchling Barn
Join us for a calm, creative textile workshop where older children can design, make and embellish their own tote bag to take home. Led by skilled designer, Chris Judge, with 30 years professional experience working within the clothing and textile industry.
Working in a small group, children will explore simple sewing techniques (hand stitch or machine depending on confidence), create straps and handles and add decorative details using fabric, colour and texture.
This is a lovely session for children who enjoy making, designing and working with their hands, with plenty of time to focus and create something they’re proud of.
Thursday 28th May
10:00–12:30
Ditchling Barn
Ages 10+
Small group (max 10 children)
Choice of light or dark bag
All materials provided
Why Choose Love Art Clubs?
Smaller groups (more space, calmer sessions, more attention for each child)
Led by experienced artists and assistants
SEND Friendly
All materials included
A safe, fun and creative environment
What to Bring:
Nut-free snacks, a packed lunch and drink
We provide biscuits for the famous "biscuit time" snack break
A waterproof jacket (we go outside if it's dry, no wellies please)
Parking & Drop-Off
It's best to park in the new car park on Keymer Road and walk to the barn, there is very limited parking outside the green by the pond/museum and its a very tight turning point. Plus if multiple people park right by the green, its going to jam up fast!
Cancellation policy
We understand that life happens, so please let us know as soon as possible if you’re unable to attend. Cancellations made within 48 hours of a class or holiday club starting are non-refundable; however, we’re happy to offer an alternative date, subject to availability.
