Summer Holiday Textiles - Ditchling Barn
Calm, creative textile workshops where older children can choose from knitting, crochet, macrame, weaving and tote bag design including the chance design, make and embellish their own tote bag to take home. Led by experienced designer Chris Judge (with over 30 years in the clothing and textile industry), this small-group session will guide children through simple sewing techniques (hand stitch or machine, depending on confidence), as well as adding straps, handles and decorative details using fabric, colour and texture.
A wonderful opportunity for those who enjoy designing and making, with plenty of time to focus and create something they’re proud of.
Dates: Thursday 6th August & Thursday 13th August
Time: 10:00–12:30
Location: The Barn, Lodge Hill Ln, Ditchling BN6 8SP (by Ditchling Museum)

A safe, fun and creative environment
What to Bring:
Nut-free snacks, a packed lunch and drink
We provide biscuits for the famous "biscuit time" snack break

Parking & Drop-Off
It's best to park in the new car park on Keymer Road and walk to the barn, there is very limited parking outside the green by the pond/museum and its a very tight turning point. Plus if multiple people park right by the green, its going to jam up fast!
