Adult 1:1 Drawing & Painting Sessions with Ginny

Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to art after a break or looking to develop your existing skills, Ginny’s relaxed 1:1 sessions are tailored entirely around you.

Plan your session with Ginny and choose what you’d like to explore. Sessions can include observational drawing, composition, depth, shading and mark making, as well as painting, mixed media, colour mixing, brush techniques and creating texture.

There’s no set programme to follow. You can work on a particular skill, bring an idea or project you’d like help with or simply spend some dedicated time experimenting and building your confidence.

£60 per hour, including art materials.
Sessions are available from 1 hour and take place in your own home, within approximately 20 minutes of Hove.

  • Our team are multi-skilled and can offer a wide range of creative sessions, here is an idea of what you could do with us:

    • Watercolour landscapes, animals, botanical

    • Mixed media with watercolour, crayons, gouache, pens & inks for any topic, could be florals, animals, buildings, portraits

    • Knitting, weaving, crochet & macrame

    • Paper flowers and plants

    • Drawing with pencils, pens & inks, from photos or from life

    • Abstract landscapes with mixed media, including pastels and crayons

    • Cartoon style illustration, creating characters & scenes

  • You would need a table big enough for your group size to have space to move freely when seated.

    You’ll need good natural light or a good overhead light if it was for the evening.

    We use a number of local venues if you didn’t want to have your event at home.

    We provide table coverings.

  • No, not at all but to us there is no ‘being good at art’ it’s more about being willing to experiment and try things out. We are all learning all the time and the good thing about being around our professional artist team is that you will feel gently supported, but you have your creative freedom too.

  • Not generally, but we usually avoid working on carpet if we can. You want to enjoy being creative, not be worried about someone dropping a paint brush!

    We bring table covers.

  • Each session is priced based on the activity, materials, time the session runs for and group size.

  • We normally say 3-5hrs will mean your group has time to finish a piece.
